Land Planning Manager

£50,000 - £65,000

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the Land Team of a high end residential developer based in Winchester. You will be tasked with obtaining planning permission ahead of purchase and development.

From day one you will be involved in site identification and promotion, working closely with Asset Management teams, managing external consultants and coordinating all work in relation to applications and appeals. This will also involve negotiations with local authorities, engagements with key stakeholders and external advisors and representing the organisation at local and national level.

Following successful consents, you will work closely with the agent and land teams on the disposal of sites and selection of purchasers while also looking at new, long-term opportunities to acquire additional strategic land.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced property professional with either RTPI or RICS qualification and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in planning. You will have a thorough knowledge of the UK planning system and be comfortable working to deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work throughout. Knowledge of financial viability appraisals or land acquisition and disposal will also help within the role.

As an ambitious and self-motivated individual you will look to thrive in this role and see it as a positive step in your career to continue your personal development.

Ideally you will have a background spent working for a mixture of local authorities and residential developers.
