Production Projects Demand Planner

£24,000 - £28,000


About you

The successful candidate will have some previous experience of working within a Supply Chain Production environment and ideally will have had exposure with planning projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain, influence and develop relationships is a key requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will:

  • Liaise both internally and externally to manage stock levels ensuring materials and packaging are available on time and in full against planned production
  • Update planned production schedules
  • Manage the supply base, placing orders and products for production specification
  • Raise purchase orders within the system, ensuring invoice price discrepancies are minimalised
  • Maintain the Materials Requirement System and ensure Forecasts are aligned to Production Forecasts
  • Liaise with production and implement production schedules managing any materials and delayed orders

Essential skills / experience include:

  • Substantial manufacturing production and materials experience
  • A hands on, flexible and adaptable approach with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and functions, both internally and with suppliers
  • An ability to adapt and respond to change with a strong attention to detail
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Projects Desired and MRP or similar manufacturing systems
