PROJECTS PLANNER - PRODUCTION

LEEDS – NEW ROLE  

£24,000 - £28,000

Your new company is the one of the leading suppliers in their industry of engineering in the UK. The Supply Chain team is undergoing a period of growth and is now looking for a Planner to assist in implementing the new MS Prpjects system into the production teams.

Moving to a new larger site outside Leeds city centre.


Your new role 
You will be working as a production projects planner using MS Projects or similar. I am looking or someone that has either used MS Projects for production scheduling or similar software.

You will report into the Purchasing Director. Your main responsibility will be to analyse company current data and systems and prepare for the migration of all stock and production onto MS Projects – project managing from start to finish and assisting users with training and first line support.

Reviewing stock levels and ensure that the accurate production schedule planning, updates, forecasting system is maintained onto the database – you MUST have software projects planning  experience within a production environment to be considered for this role. You will be responsible for generating production planned reports by extracting and analysing data from within the company.


What you'll need to succeed 
In order to succeed you will need to be analytical and have a keen eye for detail. You will be passionate about your role and how it can make a real difference. Proficiency in MS Projects or similar production projects software  is essential and Microsoft Excel, with experience of using formulas.

Experience of working in a busy manufacturing office environment would be preferable due to the fast-paced nature of the business. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills. 

This is a 40-hour week and flexible start and finish times if you are an early bird you can start as early as 0730 if you wanted too 😊
