Interaction Accountancy & Finance are working with an SME business that provides a range of Accounting services to multiple Clients in the Cambridgeshire area and are looking to bring on board an experience Accounting professional to perform a range of senior accounting duties across a portfolio of Clients.

Responsibilities and Tasks Include:

· Preparation of accounts and financial statements for a portfolio of businesses across Cambridgeshire

· Assisting with the preparation of management accounts

· Assisting clients with general queries and being their go-to person for finance related issues

· Perform a range of transactional finance duties

· Liaising with Audit firms

· Developing junior staff and consistently checking outputs 

To be suitable for this position it is an absolute must that you have the capability of performing accounting duties for multiple Clients and are able to adapt to ever changing prioritisation in duties. This is a very fast paced environment with the organisation being constantly busy, and so good organisational skills are essential.

You will be AAT qualified or studying towards a higher level Accounting Qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. Alternatively you will have demonstratable experience within a similar business at a senior level. 

Further requirements: 

· Strong literacy and numerical skills

· Proven double entry bookkeeping skills

· Basic tax knowledge - PAYE, VAT, Self-Assessment

· Accounting software experience (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc.)

· Strong communication skills - oral and written, ability to deal with variety of people in different environments

· Organised - ability to deal with a variety of tasks and managing a varied workload

· Client focused

· Commercially aware

· Team building skills

· Problem solving skills

· Ability to work well under pressure 

Salary negotiable dependent on experience, professional (ACCA/ACMA) study support through to qualification.
