An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Co-ordinator to join a focused sales team in Wellingborough. The role requires you to assist in the procuring of tenders and orders, arranging samples and following up sales leads. A good telephone manner and high standard of written communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities include: -
Achieve targets set for the company from orders gained and new enquiries generated
Responsible for developing and following up quotations with key decisions makers such as Architects, quantity surveyors, local authorities, building contractors and end users (both single and multi-site). Follow up in a timely manner, negotiate and close where appropriate.
Responsible for developing business relationships with all customer groups to establish new business and maintain repeat business.
To follow up customer enquiries, sales leads and business opportunities in a timely efficient and effective manner thereby providing excellent customer service and securing maximum possible business
Maintain up to date records for all projects and leads to ensure that correspondence to all customers is dealt with in a timely manner.
Communicate with and notify other company personnel as appropriate any problems, issues or opportunities that arise from your day to day work.
Carry out other tasks set that may from time to time be necessary for the smooth running of the business.
THE CANDIDATE: As an Internal sales assistant you will have the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues and provide them with an excellent business service. Experience within a similar sector would be beneficial, however if the candidate is an extremely driven and enthusiastic individual then full training on the products and sales techniques will be given. An important attribute to our business is the ability for individuals to work alone and under their own guidance but also be a driving active member of the team willing to contribute, communicate and develop the business growth.
Key experience essential for the role:
- Experience in a similar Sales / Account Management / Project Management role advantageous but not essential
- Numerate and IT literate (proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and CRM systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- A professional telephone manner
- Driven and enthusiastic
- Clear thinking and ability to work accurately under pressure.
