HGV Mechanic Manager – Up to £48,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic Manager to lead our busy workshop team. You must have a strong background in heavy goods vehicle maintenance and proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the HGV workshop
• Lead and support a team of skilled mechanics
• Ensure all vehicles are serviced, inspected, and maintained to high safety standards
• Manage workload scheduling, parts ordering, and compliance documentation
• Conduct diagnostic work and support with hands-on repairs when needed
• Ensure Vehicles and Trailers are compliant in line with current legislation

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an HGV mechanic is essential
• Managerial or team leader experience in a workshop environment
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and compliance regulations
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Time management skills
