Job Title: CNC Operative

 Interaction is recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Kitchen and Bathroom sector, committed to delivering high-quality products and services. We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operative to join their dynamic team in Redruth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
• Perform quality checks using measurement tools (micrometres, callipers, gauges).
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any faults or issues.
• Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and setting Quantum Maxi and Antares 5-Axis CNC machines is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
