About the Role

A well‑established, family‑run precision CNC machining company is seeking a highly capable CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their expanding manufacturing team. You will be working in a clean, modern workshop equipped with state‑of‑the‑art fixed head turning centres, producing high‑quality components in medium‑volume batches aligned with planned production schedules.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to join a close‑knit team, secure long‑term stability, and continue developing their technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating MIYANO or similar CNC fixed head turning centres
  • Working with Fanuc controls (preferred, but not essential)
  • Maintaining consistent quality standards throughout production
  • Ensuring components meet engineering specifications and customer requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment
  • Previous experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating fixed head turning centres
  • Willingness to undertake additional training where required

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
  • Regular overtime available
