Interaction Education are really pleased to currently be supporting a great school in Berkshire in their search for a Temporary teacher of Mathematics to join their team after Christmas with ongoing work available.

This role would only suit someone with previous expeirence of teaching maths in a secondary setting.

Key responsibilities for the role are below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to Year 8 and Year 9 students.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students to encourage their engagement and academic success.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching strategies and best practices.

• Contribute to the department’s continuous improvement initiatives.

• Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of the Year 8 and Year 9 mathematics curriculum.

• Previous teaching experience is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for mathematics.

• Ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for the subject.

• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
