The Role – Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS2 pupils.

• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and promote progress.

• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.

• Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and pupil assessments as required.

• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (KS2 preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with pupils.

• Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable but not essential.
