**Please note that this will be involve working outdoors as well as in the office**



Interaction is supporting our recycling specialist client with some seasonal support. The role that you will be doing is a Weighbridge Operative. This is a remote location and so you will need your own vehicle.



You will ensure that all materials are within transport weight regulations and are accounted for.



During this role you will:

× Inputting data onto the weighbridge software system

× Ensure that all site users follow FCC Health and Safety Procedures

× Ensure all weighbridge transactions are recorded in the manner instructed and in a timely fashion using GLADIS

× Assist other site staff with their duties in relation to the site activities

× Issue site user and visitor rules and other instructions/ information as required. Record issue of user rules

× Control of site users, visitors, and contractors using the weighbridge and visitor book to record who is on site

× Assist and give guidance to customers and site users. For example, directing vehicles, reminding customer to wear PPE etc.

× Report breaches of user rules or safety instructions using FCC procedures, including the issuing of near miss reports

× Provide occasional weighbridge cover for other Group sites if required

× Collate IBA input and provide site manager with monthly report

× Ensure site is tidy and secure at end of working day

× Assist with raising purchase orders



Skills & Experience Required:

× Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).

× Good IT skills and familiarity with weighbridge software systems.

× Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

× Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

× Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

× Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
