🍽️ Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – Food Industry
📍 Location: St Austell, Cornwall
🕒 Full-Time -  06.00-18.00
💷 Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

🔍 About the Role:

As a QA Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our food safety and quality systems. You’ll work closely with production, operations, and R&D teams to ensure our products consistently meet regulatory and customer expectations.

🧪 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards across production lines.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections in line with HACCP, BRC, and other relevant standards.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate QA documentation and records.
• Support training initiatives for staff on quality and hygiene practices.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a QA role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
