Interaction Education are pleased to be working with a great school in the Hertfordshire area in their search for a Headteachers PA.

This role is a temp to perm opportunity, beginning working with us, and then transferring onto the schools books as long as everything is well after a period of weeks.

The key responsibilities for this role can be found below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Headteacher, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.

• Act as the first point of contact for the Headteacher, liaising with staff, parents, and visitors.

• Organize and prepare documentation for meetings, events, and reports.

• Coordinate the Headteacher’s appointments and ensure they are well-prepared for meetings.

• Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• Assist with school policies, procedures, and general administrative tasks as required.

• Support in event organization, including school events and parent meetings.

• Handle day-to-day communications between the Headteacher, staff, and external agencies.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a PA in a school or education setting is essential.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other administrative tools.

• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and discretion.

• Proactive, with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with school management software and systems.

• Understanding of school policies and education regulations.
