Customer Services Co-ordinator
Location: Morpeth 
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:45am – 4:45pm; Friday, 8:00am – 2:45pm
Start Date: Immediate start available

We are seeking a Customer Services Co-ordinator to join a small, friendly team within a busy manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and orders

  • Input orders accurately into the ERP system and provide regular progress updates

  • Liaise with production and dispatch to meet customer delivery expectations

  • Work with the Sales Manager to prepare and send customer quotations

  • Set up new customer accounts and manage ongoing price updates

  • Handle and triage technical queries, escalating where appropriate

  • Lead the in-house generation of export documentation including certificates of origin and movement certificates

  • Participate in change order processes and support project management activities

  • Communicate professionally and clearly, including during difficult conversations

  • Support the business in meeting regulatory, compliance, and customer service standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Confident and professional communication skills

  • Able to handle challenging conversations and problem-solve effectively

  • Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) is beneficial but not essential

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable
