Trainee Designer – Timber Frame Construction

Salary: £26,000 + Performance Bonus

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Learning to create detailed timber frame designs using CAD and design software
• Supporting senior designers with technical drawings, layouts, and project documentation
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to bring designs to life
• Visiting sites to understand real-world applications of your designs
• Developing your skills in structural design, building regulations, and sustainability

What We’re Looking For:

• A keen eye for detail and a love for design
• Basic understanding of construction or architecture (education or interest)
• Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CAD software is a bonus, but not essential
