Job Role: Mobile Fitter (Agriculture & Plant) 
Location: Bletchingdon, Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000-£33,000 base salary
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 + Overtime @ 1.25x 
Job Type: Full time, Permanent 
 
The Client: 

Interaction Technical have partnered with a family run business specialising in agriculture and plant machinery. Looking to further expand their service and repair team, due to expansion they are looking for an engineer within driving distance to Bletchingdon.
 

The package: 

• 20 days Annual Leave + Public Holidays
• All overtime over 8 hours per day is paid at 1.25
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Training and development
• Some flexibility with the core working hours

 The Requirements: 

• Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential)  
• Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential) 
• Experience working on engines would be advantageous 
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience 
• Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) 
  • Full UK Drivers License 

The Responsibilities: 

• Travel to client sites to perform maintenance and repair of plant & agriculture machinery and equipment. 
• Diagnose complex technical issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. 
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations. 
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.  
• Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices. 
• Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting. 
• Communicate effectively with the in-house engineering team to provide feedback and improve product performance.
