English Teacher – Long Term Temporary Role

Daily Rate: £150 – £230 (depending on experience)

Interaction Education are currently working with a secondary school in Havering to recruit an English Teacher for a long-term temporary position starting in September 2026.

This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking for a consistent placement within a supportive English department.

The role will involve:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Planning, preparing and marking in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes
• Working as part of an established and collaborative department
• Full-time, long-term commitment

To be considered, you will need:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
• Good classroom management and behaviour management skills
• A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
