HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £38,000 - £41,500pa + £125 per month performance-based bonus

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with Hiab to join a well-established roofing and building materials supplier. This is a full-time, permanent position based in High Wycombe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery and Collection: Safely transport roofing materials and related products to and from various sites, using both mechanical and manual loading/unloading methods.
• Site Clearance: Remove second-hand materials and rubbish from customer sites as required.
• Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles, including customer and supplier deliveries.
• Customer Interaction: Act professionally and assist customers with any enquiries.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Carry out routine daily vehicle inspections and ensure that all statutory records are maintained.
• Vehicle Presentation: Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.

Working Hours:

• Mon-Thurs: 07:30 - 16:30
• Fri: 07:00 - 16:00
• Saturdays: One Saturday on, one Saturday off – 07:30 - 10:30

Requirements:

• Essential:
  • HGV Class 2 Licence
  • Valid Hiab Certification
  • Previous experience with a Hook or Grab (preferred – minimum 1 year)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Desirable:
  • Experience in the roofing or construction industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
