Fitter & Assembler (AM Shift)

Salary: £29,600 – £31,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Aylesbury (HP19)
Job type: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm

Interaction Recruitment are supporting a manufacturing client in Aylesbury who are seeking an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join their team on the early shift.

The Role

You will carry out a variety of fitting and assembly duties, working from engineering drawings and supporting the wider production team. This role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembly and fitting work within a production environment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Following instructions from supervisors and team leaders
• Maintaining quality standards and safe working practices
• Supporting other areas of production when required

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
• Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
