Job Role: Lead CCTV Drainage Engineer
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-18:00 (flexibility required)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Due to their exponential success and growth, they’re actively seeking to onboard a skilled Drainage Engineer with strong CCTV surveying experience. The Role

• Complete detailed CCTV drainage condition surveys across commercial and industrial sites nationwide.
• Identify and report on system defects, pipe condition, structural issues, misconnections, and design problems within underground drainage networks.
• Produce accurate site drainage plans, ensuring all defects and configuration issues are clearly mapped and cross‑referenced with CCTV data.
• Communicate professionally with customers on site, providing clear explanations and maintaining excellent service standards.
• Drive a company vehicle and take responsibility for supervising and supporting an Assistant Surveyor.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Has a minimum of five years’ experience in the drainage industry.
• Previous experience as a Lead CCTV Drainage Engineer is beneficial but not essential.
• Proficient with Wincan VX software.
• OS19X (or higher) certification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong ability to identify drainage design, configuration, and structural issues.
• Confident in delivering both internal and external drainage investigations with a high level of technical understanding.
• Open to flexible working hours inclusive of weekends, nights and availability for callouts.
