Job Role: Electrical Production Engineer
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

The Client:
Interaction Technical are working with an established and growing engineering manufacturer on their search for an Electrical Production Engineer to join their busy production team. The company supplies advanced machinery worldwide, with opportunities to support customers across internationally. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their electrical assembly and production engineering department.

The Duties:
• Preparing and wiring electrical chassis and machinery to technical drawings and production schedules
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on prototype, production, and customer machinery
• Completing machine calibrations and verifications, including accurate digital recording of data
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow within the production team
• Working independently to complete electrical builds to required quality standards
• Supporting occasional on-site repairs or commissioning work internationally (Asia, Europe, North America)
The Requirements:
• Previous experience in electrical engineering, panel wiring, or machinery wiring (Essential)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude (Essential)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail (Essential)
• Confident communication skills (Essential)
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word (Essential)
• Able to work independently and within a team (Essential)
• Full UK driving licence (Essential)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) (Desirable)
• PLC programming experience (Desirable)
