Part-Time Internal Sales Administrator

Hours: 24 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
Working Pattern: Flexible rotating shifts between 7am – 9pm
Salary: £20,500

Interaction Recruitment are working on behalf of a leading international construction materials group.

The business supplies the construction industry with essential materials used to build the places where we live, work and play.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Part-Time Internal Sales Administrator to join their team.


The Role

You will handle inbound customer enquiries, provide sales administration support to Territory Sales Managers, and support the pricing, chasing and winning of orders. This role is key to delivering a professional, high-quality service and positively representing the brand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer all inbound calls promptly and log enquiries accurately
  • Prepare quotations and price within agreed tolerances set by the relevant Territory Sales Manager
  • Maintain detailed notes on enquiries, including all customer correspondence
  • Process order acknowledgements upon receipt of purchase orders and update internal systems
  • Administer the cash sales process, ensuring accurate data is recorded for the Purchase Ledger team
  • Produce weekly sales reports for the Area Sales Manager, highlighting key data and significant enquiries
  • Actively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products
  • Respond to invoice queries within 7 days of being logged
  • Proactively identify new, declining or changing customers, sites and sales opportunities
  • Provide cover for other departments when required

About You

  • Previous experience in internal sales, customer service or sales administration
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confident handling customer enquiries by telephone
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, customer-focused approach
  • Comfortable working with internal systems and reporting tools
  • Flexible to work rotating start and finish times
