Welder/Fabricator

💷 £16 – £25 per hour

Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a well-established structural steel contractor based in Northampton, delivering large-scale projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Structural Steel Welder to join their fabrication team.

This role would suit a welder with a solid background in structural steel fabrication and site-ready workmanship standards.

🔹 The Role:

• MIG welding of structural steel components

• Working from engineering and fabrication drawings

• Welding beams, columns, frames, and associated steelwork

• Ensuring welds meet quality and industry standards

• Working within a busy fabrication workshop environment

🔹 Requirements:

• Proven experience in structural steel MIG welding

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

• Strong understanding of welding quality standards

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused

• Previous workshop-based structural experience preferred
