MIG and TIG Welder – Job Vacancy in Leicester

Our client, a well-established leader is looking for experienced MIG and TIG Welders to join their team in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled welders to contribute to high-quality fabrication and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a range of metals, including  e.g., stainless steel, aluminum,

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the correct welding techniques and materials.

• Ensure that all welds meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

• Inspect finished welds for defects and carry out any necessary repairs.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety procedures.

• Safely operate welding equipment and tools to complete projects efficiently.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding (minimum 5 years preferred).

• Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and team-working skills.
