The Duties:

  • Develop, support, and optimise manufacturing processes to reduce variation, rework, and reject rates
  • Implement in-process measures and controls to improve consistency
  • Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
  • Identify and prioritise cost-saving opportunities
  • Propose, risk-assess, implement, and validate changes to existing processes
  • Support the introduction of new equipment and technologies

The Requirements:

  • Degree in an Engineering-related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing process development, control, and change management
  • Skilled in structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data reporting
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with materials and precision techniques such as adhesives, laser processing, machining, and functional testing
  • Knowledge of metrology systems (optical, tactile, vision), CAD tools, and automated assembly or programming
