The Duties:
- Develop, support, and optimise manufacturing processes to reduce variation, rework, and reject rates
- Implement in-process measures and controls to improve consistency
- Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
- Identify and prioritise cost-saving opportunities
- Propose, risk-assess, implement, and validate changes to existing processes
- Support the introduction of new equipment and technologies
The Requirements:
- Degree in an Engineering-related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing process development, control, and change management
- Skilled in structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data reporting
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with materials and precision techniques such as adhesives, laser processing, machining, and functional testing
- Knowledge of metrology systems (optical, tactile, vision), CAD tools, and automated assembly or programming
