Structural MIG Welder

Our client, a well-established and expanding engineering company, is looking for an experienced Structural MIG Welder to join their hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in delivering high-quality structural fabrications and enjoys working within a company that values precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality MIG welding on structural steel components

• Read, interpret, and work from structural drawings, schematics, and fabrication plans

• Fabricate and assemble structural steelwork to exact specifications

• Operate workshop machinery and tools safely and effectively

• Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet safety and industry standards

• Work closely with the fabrication team to meet project timelines and production targets

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural MIG welding

• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication

• Ability to interpret technical and structural drawings

• High attention to detail with a commitment to safe and accurate work

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Relevant welding or fabrication certifications are advantageous
