Field Service Engineer required for a company based on the Warwickshire/ Leicestershire border - Head office based in Germany.

Daughter company to an International Corporation based in Seattle USA - with subsidiaries in Italy, Spain, France, UK, Czech Republic.

With over 50 years experience and over 15000, installed waterjet cutting systems.

Core hours of work - 8am to 5pm - working from home - flexibility required to allow for breakdown, service visits and accomodate business travel.
The position - Field Service Engineer - duties include:-

Give maximum technical support to customers to minimize downtimes

Perform installations of waterjet cutting systems

Troubleshoot, save and report failures in the field

Troubleshoot waterjet machines and components on site.

Give customer start up training and provide safety training for CE compliance

Provide technical information to customer during installation, training and service visits.

Willingness to mainly travel during the week and chage working places at short notice.

Work overtime as necessary, sometimes including Weekends.

Maintain and clean tools and equipment.



The Person :-

Mechanical and electrical engineer - Electrical Design & Installation / Electrical & mechanical Fault Diagnosis

- would suit :-

Mechatronics engineer, technician, electrician or other qualified job related to manufacturing and training of motion control systems in the field of CNC, PC, PLC.

Ideally CAD/CAM experience 

Intensive CNC Machine Tool knowledge in mechanical/ electrical software and hydraulic diagnostics.

Fluent English (written & verbal)

Flexible in location of work and willing to travel.

Valid drivers licence (max 6 points)

Full passport and documentation to support permanent UK residence.
