Customer Support Administrator 

Salary - £26,000

Location: Lynchwood, Peterborough

Hours: Shift patterns between 7:30am 5:30pm

Role Overview
As a Customer Support Administrator, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers, managing key accounts, and handling a variety of queries. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring professional and timely support while maintaining accurate records and communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Manage key client accounts with prompt and effective communication
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor and control open service calls, ensuring timely resolution
  • Prepare and send estimates for machinery and parts orders
  • Coordinate delivery of loan machines where needed
  • Handle and escalate customer complaints appropriately
  • Produce accurate customer and stakeholder reports
  • Support the Parts Manager with sourcing and part detail provision
  • Organise machine collections and deliveries with attention to internal systems
  • Provide cover during team absences to ensure workflow continuity
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and escalate operational issues

Skillset Required:

  • GCSE level education or equivalent, including English & Maths
  • Previous experience in a customer support or administrative role
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high customer service standards
  • Flexible, agile, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
