Job Title: Service Administrator Location: Kettering Hours: Monday to Friday, 0830-1700 Pay: £12.21 per hour, temp to perm My client is a prominent distributor of electronic test & measurement equipment and, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Service Scheduler / Administrator. The role will include the following responsibilities: Customer Service - Create and provide quotations for sales and service customers - Maintain records of upcoming service visits and calibrations Order processing - Process sales and service quotations, orders, proformas and invoices using SAGE software - Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the creation of sales quotations - Manage spare parts stock and orders to support smooth service operations Communication / coordination - Schedule service visits, confirming dates with customers - Manage inbound and outbounds customer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy - Collaborate with the external sales force, handing queries effectively Digital Presence Management - Monitor and respond to sales and service-related emails promptly - Engage with customer through LiveChats on the website Logistics & Inventory Control - Organise shipments with carriers to ensure timely deliveries - Place orders with suppliers and manage stock and backorders for efficient order fulfilment The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role involving service administration, ideally in a technical environment. You will have strong IT skills and experience with SAGE, or similar, is preferred. You should be able to multi-task whilst maintaining accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
