Vehicle Inspector / Administrator

£12.21 per hour

Part time (20 hours per week)

Temporary contract (initially 6 weeks with chance of extension)

Based in Bescot, Walsall

Role

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Inspector and administrator to work for the RAC in Walsall. Within this role, your duties will be split between working in the office, doing administrative work and inspecting RAC work vehicles in the outdoor depot.

-Carrying out basic inspections on RAC work vehicles

-Checking that the vehicle is roadworthy i.e tyre pressure, windscreen, horn etc

-Entering information obtained from your inspection into the RAC system

-Carrying out basic admin tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an interest in cars and an understanding of what makes a vehicle roadworthy. You do not need any motor-related qualifications, but a keen interest in cars is helpful. You will also need a keen eye for detail and be comfortable in Admin tasks.
