FLT Counterbalance Driver

Pay: £13.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our busy and friendly warehouse team in Peterlee. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, safety-conscious individual who has forklift experience and is comfortable working in a cold environment.

The Role

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will play an important role in ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in accordance with company procedures.
• Load, unload, move and store goods efficiently.
• Ensure all products are handled carefully and stored correctly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and workplace procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.
• Work effectively as part of a busy warehouse team.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence – essential.
• Previous counterbalance forklift driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to full-time hours.
• Comfortable working in a cold warehouse environment.
• Physically fit and able to undertake general warehouse duties.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm.
