Warehouse Operative – Cold Storage

Location: Meldreth, Royston
Pay: £13.27 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent

About the Role

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-established business based in Meldreth, Royston.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing temporary work, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role will involve working within a cold storage environment, carrying out general warehouse duties and ensuring goods are prepared safely and efficiently for dispatch.

PPE will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Working within a cold storage environment.

• Loading and unloading deliveries.

• Moving stock around the warehouse.

• Picking and preparing orders.

• Packing and palletising products.

• Preparing goods for dispatch.

• Operating an FLT safely.

• Ensuring stock is stored correctly.

• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse.

• Following all health and safety procedures.

• Working as part of a busy warehouse team.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Comfortable working in a cold storage environment.

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.

• Able to follow instructions and procedures.

• A good team player with a positive attitude.

• Experienced in warehouse work.

• Able to work safely and efficiently.

• Hold a valid FLT licence – essential.
