Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:30pm
Thursday Start: 7:00am

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing company based in Meldreth.

This is a hands-on and physically active role working within a food production environment. You will be responsible for packing meat products, moving stock, working within cold-storage areas and preparing finished products for dispatch.

No bandsaw experience is required.

Duties

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Packing meat products ready for dispatch

• Picking and moving products from cold-storage areas

• Handling and moving stock around the production facility

• Stacking products onto pallets

• Preparing pallets ready for dispatch

• Manual handling and lifting products weighing up to 25kg

• Carrying out basic quality checks

• Cleaning and maintaining your work area

• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Working as part of the production team to meet daily targets

About You

We are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates who:

• Are comfortable working in a food production environment

• Are happy working in chilled/cold-storage areas

• Are physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg

• Are comfortable with pallet stacking and manual handling

• Can work in a fast-paced environment

• Have good attention to detail

• Can follow instructions and health & safety procedures

• Are reliable and able to work the required hours

Previous food production, warehouse, packing or factory experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

PPE will be provided.

Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:30pm

Thursday: 7:00am start

Candidates must be able to work these hours and be available to start next week.
