Experienced Plasterer Wanted

A growing construction company based in Edinburgh is looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join its team on a full-time, Contract 

This is a great opportunity for a skilled plasterer looking for stable, long-term work with a professional and expanding construction business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plastering and finishing works across domestic and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering, rendering and finishing works to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces prior to plastering and ensure they are clean and suitable for application.
• Apply plaster, skim and other finishing materials accurately and efficiently.
• Repair and patch existing plasterwork where required.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high-quality standard.
• Work safely and in accordance with company and site procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Work effectively as part of a wider construction team.
• Complete projects within agreed timescales.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, colleagues, clients and other trades.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Plasterer is essential.
• Strong knowledge of plastering and finishing techniques.
• Ability to produce a consistently high standard of workmanship.
• Good understanding of construction site health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• Professional approach when working on client and construction sites.
• Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
