MIG Welder / Fabricator – Temp to Perm

40 hours per week (Mon–Thurs, 6:00am–5:00pm, 1-hour break)

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bacup for an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for long-term employment with a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding and operate metal cutting machinery
• Weld and fabricate metal components into a variety of structures
• Read and work from engineering drawings and technical plans
• Operate workshop tools, machinery, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including tools and equipment
• Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety requirements
• Work across the workshop and other areas of the business as required

Additional Duties

• Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Report any operational issues or concerns to management promptly
• Support the wider team during busy periods and assist with additional tasks when required

• Proven experience in MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
