Plant / Mechanical Fitter  

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant / Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team working with an industry-leading engineering company.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist sector, supporting the maintenance, servicing, and repair of advanced underground installation equipment.

The Role:

• Maintenance, servicing, and repair of specific machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Working both in the workshop and potentially on-site
• Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for deployment
• Occasional basic welding where required (not a core part of the role)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
• Strong mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, engines, plant equipment)
• Experience with heavy plant or specialist machinery preferred
• Basic welding skills advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
