Contract Type: Full time permanent 37 hours per week Salary: £33000-£38000 DOE

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and skilled Clinical Health Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high‑quality patient care and supporting clinical services within a fast‑paced environment.
About the Role
As a Clinical Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting clinical staff and ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will work collaboratively with Occupational Health Team and wider multidisciplinary teams, contributing to both routine and complex care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out clinical observations including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate.
- Support clinicians with examinations, assessments, and patient procedures.
- Perform routine tests such as ECGs, blood glucose monitoring, and phlebotomy (if trained).
- Prepare clinical areas, equipment, and materials in line with infection control standards.
- Accurately record and update patient information.
- Provide patients with compassionate support and reassurance throughout their care journey.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in working with patients and clinical teams.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
- Eager to learn and develop new clinical skills.
- Able to work flexibly, including potential evening or weekend shifts.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a clinical or care environment.
Desirable:
- Phlebotomy training.
- Experience using clinical IT systems.
