Overview
We are seeking a driven and relationship‑focused Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment for industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse clients—matching high‑quality candidates to temporary, contract, and permanent roles. You will build strong client partnerships, grow your desk through business development, and deliver exceptional service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Development
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing industrial sector clients.
- Conduct client visits to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and site environments.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively grow your client portfolio.
- Negotiate commercial terms, rates, and service agreements in line with company policy.
Candidate Attraction & Recruitment
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and direct approaches.
- Screen applicants for suitability based on skills, experience, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct interviews, skills assessments, and right‑to‑work checks.
- Manage the full recruitment process including shortlisting, arranging interviews, and job offers.
Workforce Management
- Coordinate temporary worker scheduling, shift allocation, and last‑minute cover.
- Manage candidate onboarding, documentation, and compliance.
- Conduct site inductions and check-ins with workers and hiring managers.
- Resolve issues related to absence, performance, or workplace concerns.
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate data within the CRM and applicant tracking systems.
- Prepare job descriptions, adverts, and candidate profiles.
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation, agency worker regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Support weekly payroll processes and timesheet management.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in recruitment—ideally within industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident with client engagement and sales‑focused conversations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and resilience.
- Full UK driving licence
