On-Site MMA (Stick) Welder – Fuel Tank Specialist
Nationwide UK Coverage

Our client is seeking an experienced MMA (Stick) Welder to join their growing team, delivering specialist welding services for fuel tanks and fuel-system infrastructure across the UK. This is a mobile, on-site role working across commercial, industrial, and agricultural environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MMA (Stick) welding on fuel tanks, pipework, and associated structures

  • Perform repairs, modifications, reinforcement work, and small-scale fabrication

  • Complete on-site welding tasks using mobile welding equipment

  • Adhere to strict safety and compliance procedures when conducting hot work on fuel-bearing structures

  • Conduct site assessments and ensure safe working practices at all times

  • Interact professionally with clients and represent the business to a high standard

Requirements

  • Proven experience in MMA (Stick) welding

  • Strong understanding of hot-work safety procedures, particularly on fuel systems

  • Ability to work independently across client sites nationwide

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Relevant welding qualifications or time-served equivalent experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work to deadlines

  • Current welding codes

  • Valid CSCS Card

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience working on fuel tanks or within hazardous-area environments

  • Additional welding or fabrication skills

  • Confined space or hot-work certification
