Barista – Experienced

We are seeking an experienced barista to join our café team across multiple sites in London. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role that requires strong knowledge and flexibility.

Pay Rate

£14 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages using a traditional espresso machine

• Accurately texture and heat milk to the correct temperature for each beverage

• Monitor espresso extraction and adjust grind settings throughout service

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures

• Deliver professional, efficient, and friendly customer service at all times

Cross-Training & Café Support Responsibilities

Cross-training is a core requirement of this role.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleaning, and equipment checks

• Handle POS operations, order taking, and customer interactions

• Step into non-barista roles during busy periods or staff shortages to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista using a traditional espresso machine

• Proven ability to texture milk correctly and consistently

• Strong understanding of espresso extraction and grind adjustment

• High attention to cleanliness, organisation, and workflow

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
