Our client is seeking a skilled and efficient MET Technician to join a leading accident repair centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art body shop, repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications using the latest equipment and repair techniques.

Key Requirements

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship as an MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician

• Holds a relevant technical qualification (NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ or equivalent)

• Proven experience working as an MET Technician within a busy body shop environment

• Strong team player with a self-motivated approach and the drive to achieve bonus hours

• Ability to work to the highest standards with up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair methods

• Diagnostic training and experience

Key Responsibilities

• Work efficiently within a fast-paced accident repair centre

• Strip, repair, and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components

• Carry out detailed inspections to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle system issues

• Ensure all repairs are completed in line with manufacturer specifications and customer expectations

• Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet industry and safety standards

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work undertaken

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures

What’s on Offer

• Sociable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Overtime available on Saturdays

• Permanent position

• Competitive salary, depending on experience
