Job Advert: Site Welder / Fabricator (MIG & TIG)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Welder / Fabricator with strong experience in MIG and TIG welding. This role involves on‑site fabrication, installation, repairs, and general welding work across a variety of industrial, commercial, and construction environments.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, able to interpret drawings, and capable of producing clean, high‑quality welds with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
  • Carry out on‑site fabrication and installation work
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Fabricate, assemble, and fit metal components
  • Complete repairs, modifications, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Work collaboratively with site teams, contractors, and supervisors

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
  • Strong fabrication skills and competent use of workshop tools
  • Ability to work on‑site and manage work independently
  • Experience with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
  • Ability to problem‑solve and adapt to on‑site challenges
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
  • CSCS card (advantage but not essential)
