Job Title: Transport Manager

Location: SCUNTHORPE

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Manager to oversee our transport operations. You will be responsible for managing drivers, vehicles, and compliance to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day transport operations and driver schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including driver hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Monitor fleet performance and implement cost-saving measures.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate records and produce operational reports.
• Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve KPIs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
