Sales & Marketing Assistant
We are currently seeking a proactive, organised, and customer-focused Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team in Northumberland. This is an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic sales and marketing operation within the specialised Air Traffic Control (ATC) and technology sectors.
Location: Cramlington, Northumberland
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Flexible hours, early finish on Fridays)
Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our sales and marketing activities, assisting with customer communications, preparing sales documentation, and coordinating marketing campaigns. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a varied role and is eager to build a career in a specialised and rewarding industry.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Sales & Marketing Manager with customer accounts, lead management, and sales processes

Prepare quotes, proposals, and tender documents

Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Maintain and update the CRM system with sales data and customer interactions

Assist with marketing campaigns, including email marketing and social media activity

Help organise trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends

Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and after-sales support

Produce and analyse sales reports for management
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a sales or administrative support role (ideally within a technical or B2B sector)

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Knowledge or experience in marketing is desirable

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Engineering or technical sector experience is highly desirable

Familiarity with aviation, ATC, or technology industries is a plus, but not essential
