Job Role: Technical Sales Manager (Brewing Equipment) 

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire 

Salary: £40,000-£60,000 base salary + Commission (OTE £80,000-£120,000 PA) 

Hours: Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00 (Flexibility Due to Working National) 

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:

  • Visit an array of breweries, carrying out installations, service, and maintenance of on-site equipment across the UK & Europe
  • Liaise with clients, communicating in a professional manner & offering a high level of service
  • Provide technical sales support and advice to clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales growth
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients to ensure they are fully informed about the equipment and its capabilities
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered on time
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's products and services

The Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales, preferably within the Brewing, FMCG, or Food Processing Industry
  • Understanding of manufacturing and brewing processes
  • Strong technical knowledge of brewing equipment and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Full UK Driver's License
