Role: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Bias The Package:• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Holiday Buy Scheme • Company Pension Scheme + Salary sacrifice scheme to increase contributions • Overtime available and paid at 1.5x / 2x Saturday PM • Company Van + fuel card for all commuting to and from site, as well as travelling to other sites across the West Midlands • Broad learning and career progression opportunities with plenty of training on offer The Duties:• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance system for the site and respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies where required • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on plant equipment • Support plant improvement projects and upgrades • Respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams, as well as external contractors • Travel to other sites in the West Midlands as required The Requirements:• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience within heavy engineering (essential) • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment (essential) • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge (essential) • Experience and understanding of mechanical maintenance of equipment including conveyors, pumps, pipes, valves, filter systems, gear boxes etc (essential) • Basic electrical understanding surrounding fault finding and basis maintenance / repair (advantageous) • Strong welding understanding and skillset (advantageous) • Full UK driving licence About Interaction Recruitment: Thank you for taking the time, we hope to speak in the near future.
