Temporary General Operative – Sparkford

Location: Sparkford
Duration: Temporary – approximately 2–4 days
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Payable Hours: 8.5 hours per day

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to assist with a short-term project in Sparkford.

The role will involve dismantling existing panelling, carefully removing outer metal sheets and disposing of internal materials.

Duties will include:

• Dismantling existing panelling.
• Carefully stripping off the outer metal sheets (very thin metal sheets) and reusing them where possible.
• Removing and disposing of the inner sections into a designated skip.
• Keeping the working area tidy and safe.

Working Hours & Breaks:

• Start: 8:00am
• Finish: 4:30pm
• Morning break: 15 minutes (paid)
• Lunch break: 30 minutes (unpaid)
• Afternoon break: 15 minutes (paid)
• 8.5 payable hours per day.

PPE Requirements:

• Safety boots must be worn at all times.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable undertaking manual work.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely.
• Previous experience in a general operative or labouring role would be beneficial but is not essential.
