Warehouse / Production Operative – Meldreth, Royston

Location: Meldreth, Royston, Hertfordshire
Pay: £13.00 per hour (Monday–Friday)
Saturday & Bank Holiday Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing Temporary to Permanent

Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Production Operatives for a busy food production company based in Meldreth, near Royston.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for consistent, full-time work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on a busy food production line.

• Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch.

• Loading, unloading and moving stock (up to 20kg).

• Operating production machinery, including meat band saws where required, following appropriate training.

• Carrying out quality checks on products and packaging.

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

• Completing daily cleaning and wash-down duties.

• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, production or food manufacturing experience is desirable.

• Reliable, hardworking individuals with a good work ethic.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.

• Willing to carry out cleaning duties and follow food hygiene procedures.

• Able to work well as part of a team.

• Previous meat band saw experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

• 30-minute break

• Occasional Saturday shifts available

• Monday to Friday: £13.00 per hour

• Saturdays and Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour
