Interaction Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a specialist IT company looking to expand their support team within their modern service office in Peterborough.

We are currently seeking Dutch Speaking Service Desk Advisers to provide first-line IT support to external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach and an interest in technology.

Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for both experienced support advisers and candidates looking to develop their career within IT support.

The Details

• Location: Peterborough
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between 7am – 7pm, with flexible shift rotation and occasional weekends
• Pay Rate: £14.22 per hour
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Providing first-line IT support to external customers via telephone and email
• Supporting Dutch-speaking customers professionally and effectively
• Logging, tracking and accurately updating support tickets
• Troubleshooting basic hardware, software and network-related issues
• Escalating more complex technical issues where required
• Guiding customers through step-by-step technical solutions
• Maintaining accurate support documentation and knowledge base records
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the service desk
• Supporting continuous improvement across the service desk
• Providing a consistently high level of customer service and building positive client relationships

The Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised, reliable and methodical in your approach
• Previous call centre, customer service or technical support experience is beneficial
• Previous IT support experience is advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• A genuine interest in technology and developing a career in IT support
