Multi-Drop Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join a busy and well-established delivery operation in Bedford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work, competitive pay and a permanent position.
The Role
As a Multi-Drop Class 2 Driver, you will work alongside a Driver’s Mate, completing deliveries to customers across Bedford and the surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities will include:

Completing multi-drop Class 2 deliveries alongside a Driver’s Mate

Safely delivering and unloading customer orders
-
Collecting empty kegs, pallets and customer returns
-
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
-
Completing delivery paperwork and EPODs
-
Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Management team
-
Complying with tachograph and drivers’ hours regulations
-
Following all company Health & Safety procedures
-
Providing professional and friendly customer service
The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak periods.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
-
Minimum 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience

Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence

Valid Driver CPC
-
Good knowledge of Bedford and the surrounding areas

Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
-
Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable
